We have lived in the Hill country for 5 years and decided to share our facilities with the public in 2007. Rosebud's Flatrock Ranch offers a peaceful place to relax, hike, hunt, or just enjoy nature. If you are a cyclist, the road at the entrance to the ranch is one of the best bicycle trails in the Hill Country with beautiful scenery and creeks along the way. We have two small lakes that you can enjoy. Our two picnic areas have tables, swings, and fire pits where you can have lunch, read a book, take a snooze, or simply relax and enjoy natures artistry. For the photographer or hunter, we have comfortable, state of the art insulated hunting blinds. In the evening, we can provide a fire in the firepit along with comfortable seating. Put up your feet and relax while enjoying the camaraderie and evening sounds of the Texas Hill Country. |

We are ten miles from Comfort, Texas in Kerr County off Hasenwinkel Rd. If you have a shopping urge, Comfort, Fredericksburg, and Kerrville are just a short distance away. There you can find antiques, unique shops, and fine dining.
